RYA Day Skipper practical course will teach you the skills needed to become a Skipper of a sailing yacht.
This is the first step in taking charge on a yacht and your experienced RYA instructor will teach you pilotage, navigation, seamanship and boat handling.
Gibraltar is a perfect RYA training ground with tidal waters, shipping lanes, lights and buoys and lots of interesting marinas to practice your navigation skills. The RYA Day Skipper practical certificate is your ticket to freedom accepted by charter companies worldwide.
We guarantee you will have the opportunity to Skipper on short passages and moor the yacht under instruction with plenty of friendly advice from your Instructor.
Dates: Day Skipper practical available every week all year: Sunday 6pm to Friday pm.
